Children paint their sea with the heartf change 2021 (En Espanol)
Children paint their sea is a beautiful activity created by the renowned local artist Amarantha Chipiaje, this initiative began in 2012; It is a cultural, social and environmental activity of participation and integration for the family, it was created more than 10 years ago, it works through rotation circuits where children learn different environmental, recreational, cultural activities of entrepreneurship, games, recreation, painting and crafts and art materials within the reach of children completely free including this year the painting of the murals (walls up to 30 meters long) that goes throughout the entire city of Santa Marta so that it would be more participatory for all the community, among the places in the city are: the mall of Buenvista, mall of Zazue, Taganga, Rodadero, Historic Center). This project had the participation of more than 2,800 children. In their activities apart of painting at the same time, also did activities of cleaning, social and visual cultural work is shown throughout the city by painting Santa Marta in colors where tourist enjoy, all this work is strengthened in conjunction with the district Mayor’s Office.
Amarantha has been dedicated to art and culture since she was 7 years old and has traveled with art to many corners of Colombia and internationally such as the United States, England and across all Europe with her art.
SCHEDULE CHILDREN PAINT THEIR SEA AT FESTIVALS OF THE SEA 2021 IN SANTA MARTA
Day 1 – Friday, July 30, 2021 in the “Parque Bolívar” from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at 6:00 pm continuous day.
Day 2 – Saturday July 31, 2021 will be at “Av. Tamaca Rodadero in front of Mundo Marino – Rodadero ”from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (mural painting) and then at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on the same day it will be held at the“ Buenavista ”. (Mural painting )
Day 3 – Sunday, August 1, 2021 will be held at the “Ludoteca de Taganga” from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (mural painting) and then at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on the same day. in the Zazue Shopping Center the “Food Square” (mural painting)
